Established in February 1997, in Phoenix, Arizona, God provided
a unique property which allowed the ministry to open with eleven
women and two little boys. We currently have one large home for
living and a large office for A
Heavenly Stitch, where we design Vestments, for churches
and clergy. There is room on the property to add one more building,
a sixteen bedroom
dorm,
when the time is right for the ministry to grow.
A disciplined lifestyle can require different things from different
women. Guidelines are specific enough to deal with individual needs
and broad enough to leave room for the direction of the Holy Spirit
in the life of a woman. Our goal at Cabrini House is to create
a setting that allows God to work in each individual life to produce
maturity spiritually, physically, and emotionally.
Our mission is tor provide the atmosphere, training and nuturing
so that each woman might come to a fuller understanding of her
relationship before God the Father and whater her purpose and responsibility
is in the Kindgom of God.
As soon as the ladies are able they are expected to find employment
outside the home. In this way they can share in the expenses but
even to a greater degree this becomes an opportunity to learn some
of the necessary skills in relating to and ministering in the secular
setting.
